GAME OF THE WEEK - SPORTING EVENT COVERAGE

Winners of Tomorrow Sports Video Productions produces TV-format video productions for youth athletic events.  I learned all of this working as a crew member for several major broadcast networks with Professional and College sporting events.    I know this business through and through and really knock myself out to produce a nice show.

We produce a complete videotape (DVD) of a championship game. Each championship video is about 50-55 minutes in length.    The video-tape is produced by a 5-6 member crew which includes 2 cameramen, an announcer, sideline talent, audio sound technician and sales person.    We use the same format and techniques that they would use in a televised game.  In fact, the kids and some of the coaches are all convinced they are on a live national television broadcast  (which they are not) – but that never seems to matter.   The DVD looks like a real televised broadcast – not home video.  Here are the basic features of our TV-style broadcast DVD.

The DVD Includes

·         Pregame show (Flags, color guard and individual introduction of the teams and player

·         Sportscaster coverage to provide play-by-play commentary live and on camera

·         Music bumpers live to stadium throughout games and in production of videotape (DVD)

·         Wireless microphone on the head referee so the audience can hear the penalty calls on the field and

on the DVD (very popular with fans and refs)

·         Sideline reporter (Yes, she is cute!)to interview players and coaches, before & after game

·         Coverage of cheerleaders at sideline and halftime show (Really makes the DVD special)

·         Crowd reaction shots during big plays and scoring situations (Yes, they love being on camera!)

·         Full Sports Graphics package on video featuring scoreboard, down an distance, and offensive/   defensive players lower thirds on each play (kids and parents love this)

·         2 Cameras that are synced so that we have stadium and sideline camera views of the plays.  (We use freeze frame and slow motion replay just like on TV)

·         Breaks for commercial where we feature a 30 second commercial for the sponsoring organization

·         Coverage of Award Ceremonies

·         Ending Musical montage of best plays of game
