Presenting a goal keeper is always a tough proposition. You can film a bunch of games and come away with very little useable material. I like to film a training session with a goalie and coach if the athlete happens to have one. In this instance we hit a gold mine. We filmed a one-hour training session with a fabulous trainer. The coach put this athlete through one of the most punishing workouts I have ever witnessed which really showcased the athletism of the subject. We juxtiposed training scenes versus live game action to make our point that this athlete is stopping penalty kicks in games because he trains each week to stop shots. Andrew "AJ" Jones - Defender - Incredible Talent - McLean Premier Soccer - NCSL - Div 1 - US Rank 32
After watching his opening video clip I guarantee you will watch this 7 minute video to the end. Andrew could play anywhere on the field for a top Division 1 College. His instincts and positioning on defense are so apparent from the video clips you are about to watch. Look closely at his eyes as he surveys the opportunities around him. He makes all the right choices. Andrew has geat vertical jumping ability and his recovery speed is second to none. We've seen great forwards try to go through him or around him and they fail repeatedly. See Andrew's awesome video below:
Todd Kopf - Midfielder - Fancy Feet - McLean Premier Soccer - NCSL - Div 1 - US Rank 32
This athlete possesess incredible ball handling and play-making skills. He learned the game of soccer playing for the American Overseas School of Rome and has recently located back in the USA. We covered this player using an isolation camera technique to accent his athleticism. We drew attention in the video to his international experience wherever possible. Coach's interview was a big plus. This player was always setting everyone else to score. Had great touch on the ball and creative moves that made it possible for him to find openings to penetrate and attack.
Tanner Carlton - Class of 2010 - Left Wing - Shotmaker - McLean Premier Soccer - NCSL - Div 1 - US Rank 32
We filmed this player using isolation camera technique and were forced to use freeze frame to telegraph what this player was about to do before he did it. He had several scores off of headers which were in a crowd and difficult for the viewer to follow. As a result, freeze frame was very effective and dramatically captured the athleticism of the athlete. This young man also happens to be an accomplished musician and song writer.
